Must Material ("we", "our", or "the platform") is committed to protecting the privacy of all visitors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (and more importantly, what we don't collect), how it is used, and your rights as a user.

Must Material is designed with privacy at its core. We require no sign-up, collect no personal data from visitors, and have no interest in tracking student activity.

Because Must Material does not require registration or login, we collect very minimal information. The limited data that may be collected is as follows:

03 — Not Collected

Information We Do NOT Collect

To be completely transparent, Must Material does not collect or store any of the following:

  • Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers from visitors
  • User accounts, profiles, or login credentials
  • Location data, device identifiers, or browsing history
  • Payment information (the platform is entirely free)
  • Behavioral data, click patterns, or usage profiles
  • Any data from or about children specifically

When you visit Must Material, you remain completely anonymous. We cannot identify who you are from your visit.


04 — Uploads

User-Uploaded Content

Must Material allows students to submit study materials through our Upload feature. When you voluntarily submit materials, please be aware that:

  • Submitted materials may be displayed publicly on the platform after peer review
  • We may attribute contributions with a badge or acknowledgment (without requiring identifying information)
  • Any personal information voluntarily included in a submitted document is your responsibility to manage
  • Submitted materials can be requested for removal by contacting us

Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as your full name, contact details, or school ID) in study documents you upload.


05 — Cookies

Cookies & Analytics

Must Material currently does not use advertising cookies, third-party trackers, or behavioral analytics tools. The platform may use minimal technical cookies necessary for basic website operation (such as session continuity), if required by the hosting environment.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar user-tracking tools.


06 — Third Party

Third-Party Services

Must Material is hosted on Vercel. As with any hosted service, Vercel's infrastructure may collect standard server logs as part of normal operations. Please refer to Vercel's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle infrastructure-level data.

Any external links on Must Material lead to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their policies before engaging with them.


07 — Children

Children's Privacy

Must Material is designed for students of all ages, including children. Because we do not collect any personal information from any visitor, our platform is inherently safe for use by minors.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us immediately and we will remove it.

Although we collect very little data, you retain the following rights regarding any information you may have voluntarily shared with us:
